Tele Per Tele Fils was an exhibition in 2008 at Alliance Francais in Sydney. It combined my father's images of Paris in the late 50s and early 60s and mine taken in the early 2000s; some 50 years apart.

 

My father was a keen amateur. He made his own developers and constantly tested lenses and developing techniques, but he rarely printed. In 2006 we put each other's images side by side and found similarities in subjects and approaches, forming the idea for this series.
